It has been a pretty hectic past week or so in the markets with all of the craze over r/wallstreetbets, GameStop stock and short squeezes. I even got into the action (both somewhat early on and in the midst of the squeeze, with shares bought in at 83 and 270). I’m still holding, but I fear the “squeeze as the squoze” and I have a lesson to be learned somewhere in here.. perhaps not to be so greedy? At one point I did have a near 600% return on my investment in just a few days time.
But now back to the actual CoStarting reality, and leading up to the last few days of the final Cohort checkin I realized I would not be able to make my original launch success criteria before the deadline, thus failing my involvement in Cohort #1. 🙁
One of the biggest takeaways I learned is that if you get too comfortable getting used to skipping a day because you waited too late in the day, or feel too tired, is that it makes it that much easier to do again and again. At minimum force yourself to spend just 15 minutes every single day, and you (and I would have been) will be in much better shape.
